Each year thousands of people come to Pitlochry to visit the Enchanted Forest so the businesses of Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire felt there was an opportunity to build on the success of the Enchanted Forest by having entertainment in Pitlochry each evening. The Autumn Festival is backed by Hotels, Guest Houses, B&Bs, Shops, Restaurants, Attractions and various organisations in Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire that you see listed and mentioned on this web site.

The Pitlochry Autumn Festival will include a number of events held in the town of Pitlochry and across Highland Perthshire. This web site will be kept up to date detailing the different events being run each night in Pitlochry.

Claire Kelly and her family had a great time over the weekend of the 17th October 2008 visiting Pitlochry Autumn Festival and the Enchanted Forest and has sent through some pictures for our use. We thought you might like to see them too.

Autumn in Highland Perthshire is a very special time of the year, where the autumn colours can be seen in abundance while nature prepares itself for the long winter nights. See the red deer stags rutting, or the wild salmon jumping the various waterfalls. There is plenty to see and do both by day and by night.

Walking in autumn along the many way marked trails and paths will also add to the experience. The paths and trails in Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire are not inundated with people and you will often find you have the path and countryside all to yourselves save for maybe a red squirrel or two!

The Pitlochry Autumn Festival provides entertainement and fun for all those visiting Pitlochry to see the Enchanted Forest.
