Wild Connections
Every autumn, you can go wild in Highland Perthshire with Wild Connections, a unique wildlife festival taking place at the heart of Perthshire Big Tree Country.
Explore your wild senses, gather with other wildlife enthusiasts and let your wild side evolve with a series of events, both indoors and outdoors, showing off our natural habitats and animals at their best.
The 2012 festival dates will be announced shortly. Keep in touch with what's happening at the festival by joining our Facebook or Twitter pages.
Wild Connections events fall into three main streams:
Evolving: Interested in learning about wildlife? Then this is the best place to start. Choose from a selection of events which include wildlife photography masterclasses and informal expert talks on red deer, red squirrels and wildlife protection. We've got it covered!
Exploring: Get into the wild and learn about Perthshire Big Tree Country's stunning creatures and habitats first hand. Events include Spotlight Safaris and even the opportunity the climb Schiehallion with a knowledgeable guide.
Gathering: If you like big events and lots of exciting activities for all the family, come to one of our gatherings! We've got a crann-apple cider festival as well as the opportunity to play with food, fire and fungi!
