Highland Perthshire Autumn Festival Events 2011

Treasure Hunt, Throughout October

For the chance to win a family ticket to The Enchanted Forest and a £60 meal voucher for Fern Cottage Restaurant. Grab a pen and an entry form from any participating outlet and go hunting for the clues in the shops in town. Once completed, post your form in the box at Fisher’s Hotel or Fern Cottage Restaurant - don’t forget to include your contact details! The winner will be drawn on 4th November and notified shortly afterwards.

Best Dressed Business Competition, Throughout October

Pitlochry’s shops and restaurants will be dressing to impress and win your vote in the Best Dressed Business Competition. Pick up a voting slip at any participating shop or restaurant. When you’ve filled it in, drop the voting slip into the box at Fisher’s Hotel (Atholl Rd) or Fern Cottage Restaurant (Ferry Rd) for a chance to win a great prize! Winners will be announced on the website.

Black Out Bungee, 7 October from 4pm - 10pm

Experience Europe's first ever Black Out Bungee right here in Perthshire, Scotland.  Throughout the festival season, Highland Fling will be open for day and night time jumping; the ultimate adrenalin adventure. To book please call 0845 366 5844 or visit www.bungeejumpscotland.co.uk

Ghost Tours, Fri 21, Sat 22, Fri 28 & Sat 29 Oct

Suitable for scaredy cats of all ages, the Ghosts are backin town! Creep around Pitlochry’s dark and spooky corners and hear their spine tingling stories of heinous deeds from the past. Departing from the war memorial every 30 min 6:30 - 9:00* Adults: £5, Concessions & Children: £3 Tickets available from: Just The Ticket! on the High Street or from the head ghost on the night.
*the 9:00 tour will only be running for Halloween (28th & 29th).

Street Jammin, 29 October

Learn some really cool moves and dance steps at our Street Jam workshops. Suitable for all the family, wear comfortable clothes, sensible shoes and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated! The workshop is at the Baptist Church on Atholl Rd. It runs from 3pm to 4pm and culminates in a public display at 4.30pm. There will also be a 30 minute show at the Local Community Ceilidh at the Pitlochry Town Hall, West Moulin Road at 8pm.
Workshop Price: £3.50.

Fabulous Fireworks, 29 October

Highland Perthshire Community Interest Company’s stunning firework display right at the heart of Pitlochry, marks the end to this year’s Enchanted Forest and a start to the Hallowe’en weekend.Sponsored by McCarthy & Stone for the second year running and Fishers Hotel (Under New Ownership).

Halloween Fancy Dress Street Parade, 29 October

It’s Hallowe’en and Pitlochry is swarming with witches, warlocks, devils and demons. We need you to join the fancy dress parade at 6.15pm from the Baptist Church Car Park, culminating in our Kids Fancy Dress Competition at Fishers Hotel at 6.30pm.
Two winners (Boys and Girls) will be selected from three age categories: Under 5s, 5-8 Yrs, 9-11 Yrs.

Fright Night Bungee: 29 October from 4pm - 10pm
